The Journey Ahead
Let’s take a closer look at how we’ll work together. From the first focus session to ongoing consulting support, here’s how 3P Allies helps advocacy organizations build momentum and advance their missions.
Take Perspective
The Strategic Focus Session will give you a clear picture of your organization. During this one-hour meeting, you’ll gain new insights and begin to see your organization with fresh eyes as we explore:
- Strengths: What your organization does well (and what it does best)
- Weaknesses: Areas that need improvement
- Opportunities: New ways to leverage your Strengths based on the environment
- Threats: Internal and external obstacles to achieving your mission
Develop a Plan
Your team will participate in a collaborative workshop informed by your Strategic Focus Session. We’ll work through the SACRED Path—six steps inspired by successful change movements.
- Self-reflection: What is the organization’s true purpose?
- Affiliation: How do individuals engage with your organization and stay engaged?
- Collaboration: How do you collaborate across multiple organizations?
- Recruiting: How do you bring in new people to support your mission?
- Education: How do you educate the public about your mission?
- Discuss Differences: How do you respond to different perspectives inside—and outside—the organization?
We’ll use your insights from the session to develop a one-year plan.
Prioritize Goals
You’ll select 1-2 goals to accomplish in the next 90 days that will advance your one-year plan. We’ll consider your current capacity and existing priorities to ensure the goals you select are attainable.
Make It Happen
We’ll meet regularly to address obstacles, celebrate wins, and maintain momentum. These check-ins keep your organization focused on making steady progress toward your 90-day goals.
Assess Results
We’ll reflect on your accomplishments and how they’re impacting the organization. Then we’ll determine next steps toward your one-year plan—whether that’s setting new 90-day goals with ongoing support or continuing on your own.
